Itinerary
The following is a general itinerary and brief description of the trip. This may be slightly altered depending on each groups requirements.

We will collect you from Nice Airport between 10.30am and 11.30am and make our way into the Provençal hills, arriving at the villa for a relaxed lunch at around 1.30pm.
The rest of the afternoon is left open for settling in, taking in the views, and easing into the rhythm of the retreat. For those who would like to, there is also the option of a short walk from the villa.
In the early evening, we gather on the terrace for an apéritif and welcome briefing at 6.30pm, before sitting down to dinner at the villa at 7.30pm.

After breakfast at 7.30am, we leave the villa at 8.30am and make our way into the mountains for the day’s hike, usually setting off on foot by around 9.00-9.15am.
The day is spent immersed in some of the region’s most beautiful scenery, with time to enjoy the walk at a good pace and stop for a packed lunch in the mountains.
We are generally back at the villa by around 4.30pm, leaving time for a swim, a chance to relax, and a little free time before the evening.
We leave the villa at 6.45pm for dinner in one of the local villages at around 7.15pm.

After breakfast at the villa at 8.00am, we leave at 8.45am and head into the local villages for a slower day of exploring Provençal life beyond the hikes.
The morning begins with a coffee in the village square, followed by time to wander through Fayence market and explore the village itself, taking in its atmosphere, character and everyday rhythm.
We then continue on to Mons, arriving at around 11.00am, with time to discover the village and walk through its charming streets before lunch in a local restaurant at 12.00pm.
Later in the afternoon, we head to the vineyard for a tour and wine tasting beginning at 2.30pm. We are usually back at the villa by around 4.30pm, leaving time to relax, enjoy a swim, or simply unwind before the evening.
At 6.30pm, we gather on the terrace for an apéritif and a short briefing for the following day, before dinner at the villa at 7.30pm.

The final morning begins with breakfast at 8.30am, followed by some free time to enjoy the villa, take in the views, or simply savour a last slow moment in Provence before departure.
Lunch is served at the villa at 12.30pm, after which we leave at 2.00pm for the journey back to Nice Airport, usually arriving between 3.00pm and 3.30pm.
Packing List
This region in France enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year, making it an ideal destination for hiking. Even in winter, you're likely to experience more sunny days than not. At our villa, located at 600 meters above sea level, temperatures can reach up to 20 degrees Celsius in the winter, perfect for an outdoor lunch on the terrace!
However, mountain weather is notoriously unpredictable, and conditions can change rapidly. To ensure you're prepared for any eventuality, we recommend packing the following items.

Day pack - (this is to fit sufficient amount of water, packed lunch, rain jacket, sun lotion and any essential items)
Waterproof cover for bag (optional and seasonal)
Windproof & waterproof jacket
Hiking boots or shoes (preferably waterproof)
Trekking shorts x 1
Trekking trousers x 1 (for colder months)
Trekking socks x 4 (thickness depending on time of year)
Base layers (for colder months)
Fleece x 1 (for colder months)
Lightweight gloves (for colder months)
Sun hat (optional)
Beanie hat (for colder months & optional)
Walking sticks (optional: personal preference, only if you feel more comfortable with these)
Sun lotion
Head torch (optional)
Sunglasses
Re-usable water bottles up to 3 litres in total or camel pack up to 3 litres (winter months require less water)
Binoculars (optional)

Any other essential items you require on a personal level for the hikes
